Do you take insurance?

I am happy to provide my clients with a receipt that can be forwarded to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement directly to you. Some insurance plans will reimburse the entire amount, some reimburse a portion, and some do not reimburse at all. Please contact your insurance provider for further details regarding their reimbursement policy and possible out-of-network benefits.

How do I pay for each counseling session?

Payments for the therapy and evaluation sessions are made at the time of your session. Please contact my office as fees are based on the type of service you require. Payments are made in the form of cash, check, credit card, or flex spending account credit cards.

What are your office hours? Do you work evenings or weekends?

Dr. Brissett offers therapy and Assessment appointments Monday - Friday, and in some cases, weekend, virtual, telephone, and in-home sessions.

How soon can I make an appointment? Do you have a waiting list?

We do our best to fit clients in quickly and to get started on therapy right away. Keep in mind that evening time slots get filled quickly, so scheduling an appointment with Dr. Brissett sooner rather than later is best. In some cases, scheduling a Virtual Consultation may be the fastest way to get an immediate appointment scheduled.

Does your credit card machine accept payment from Flex Spending Accounts?

Yes. My credit card machine allows for the flex spending account credit cards.
